An aria (Italian for air; plural: arie or arias in common usage) in music was originally any expressive melody, performed by a singer. It’s no mistake that Aria’s name has a connection with her strong passion for singing. Plenty have compared her to the sweet and soulful sounds of Jill Scott, the roughness of Lauryn Hill,the creativity of Erykah Badu and the rawness of Sarah Vaughn, all of whom are major influences of this aspiring actor/singer. She developed her sound growing up around a lot of Jazz, Soul, funk, blues and rock, each genre has shaped her and given her the unique sound that she has now. As said by Mark Ronson a very talented and successful producer her melodic tempo and musical ear are exceptional. She’s far ahead of her time, constantly writing songs and creating new ideas everyday. Her drive and dedication to making as what she calls “real feel good music” is naturally there, the main focus for her as an artist is “to inspire others with my music no matter their race, gender, color, orientation,size/shape, or background, I want my music to inspire and open up the minds of people when they listen to my music.
